HISTORY

SAFE Surgery and Anesthesia For Everyone, Inc. was formed in 2018 by the three co-founders, Drs. DeLong, Ferrara and Virasoro. They were inspired by their mentors to help those without access to quality surgical care both regionally and internationally. In 2013 they began humanitarian training missions in the Dominican Republic with the non-profit Physicians For Peace, ultimately developing a Fellowship training program in collaboration.
